Recognizing the importance of people-centred care and self-care, the International Patient Safety Initiative aims to promote digital information technology at point of care at all levels.

World Health Day, April 7

Self-care refers to activities that a person can adopt to improve their health and well-being, in particular,

  1. making healthy lifestyle choices,
  2. avoiding unhealthy lifestyle habits,
  3. making responsible use of prescription and non-prescription medications,
  4. self-recognition of symptoms,
  5. self-monitoring and
  6. self-management.

Who We Are

Aligned with the global health goals of the United Nations and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), a flagship initiative is established under the Elizabeth Pharmacy in July 2023 entitled “International Patient Safety Initiative”, with elements of people-centred care which have direct impact on improving health outcomes at the point of care.
